Jermareo Davidson Named SEC Player of the Week

TUSCALOOSA, AL| Alabama senior forward Jermareo Davidson was named SEC Player of the Week today for his efforts in the Tide's two wins against LSU and South Carolina.

Davidson had a career high 31 points at LSU Wednesday night, the most any player has scored in an SEC game this year. He followed up that performance with a near double-double against South Carolina on Saturday where he scored 9 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

The senior from Atlanta is the 27th player from Alabama to be named SEC Player of the Week and the first Bama player this season.
